Jaylon — leaders in geosynthetic solutions

The Jaylon group of companies commenced business in Perth in 1946 manufacturing a range of soft plastic products. For more than fifty years the company has developed wide ranging expertise in sheet plastic fabrication, focusing particularly on products supplied to the mining, agriculture, horticulture and stationery markets.

In 1989 the company relocated to a 4,000 square metre purpose-built factory in Malaga, Western Australia, where manufacturing facilities were modernised and expanded. A subsidiary company, Jaylon Environmental Systems, was formed in 1992 to supply and install geomembranes for the mining and civil engineering industries. In 2001 the company established its Brisbane office thereby ensuring a strong Australia-wide ability to meet customer requirements in all parts of Australia and offshore.

Geomembranes in particular are increasingly required for an ever-broadening range of applications to safeguard the environment. Geomembrane and associated applications include fluid containment, dam liners,  landfill liners and caps, heap leach pads, floating covers and flume liners.

Jaylon Environmental Systems continues to enhance its range of mining sector products and services. In particular, there is a commitment to providing the business’s expanding geomembrane client base with a high quality turn-key design, fabrication and installation service utilising a range of geosynthetic products.
