Silage Covers are supplied by Jaylon using 200 micron tri-laminated polyethylene film. This is a quality polyethylene that is ultra violet (UV) stabilised and fabricated by Jaylon to customers’ specifications.

The polyethylene roll widths are 6.0 metres and 12 metres and roll lengths are 50.0 metres.

More durable but generally more expensive, woven and coated materials can also be used as alternative silage covers to the cost effective polyethylene films. Eyelets and ropes are inserted and attached where necessary.
