Jaylon has been manufacturing mattress covers for the hospital and nursing sector for over 50 years.

Standard mattress covers:

  • are made from 160 micron anti-fungal, white hospital vinyl sheeting
  • are available with elastic corners or ‘envelope style’
  • are locally manufactured
  • can be custom made to suit requirements
  • have optional fully enclosed welding for complete waterproofing
  • can be cleaned with warm soapy water and dried with a clean cloth

Mediflextra™ and Medi-guard® fabrics

Our Mediflextra™ and Medi-guard® fabrics have been designed in consultation with industry professionals and are proven to preserve quality and longevity of mattresses, pillows and bed linen in hospitals and aged care facilities.

Mediflextra™ and Medi-guard® fabrics:

  • are impermeable to water penetration
  • resist colour change, inhibit bacterial growth
  • are colour-fast to light
  • locally made for superior quality and competitive pricing

Although Mediflextra™ and Medi-guard® are similar in fabric specifications they have a distinctive textural difference and full fabric specifications and samples are available on request.

Mediflextra™ is 80% PVC, 13% polyester and 7% cotton : 480gsm
Medi-guard® is 87% PVC and 13% polyester : 480gsm

Jaylon’s manufactured pillow cases :

  • are made from our 160 micron anti-fungal, white hospital vinyl sheeting
  • are available in standard design or added zip for your convenience
  • are locally manufactured in Malaga
  • can be custom made to suit requirements
  • can be cleaned with warm soapy water and dried with a clean cloth
  • are also available in our Mediflextra® and Medi-guard® fabric
